Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on the Elex website. The use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully .
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
The intention of the Elex website is that all information should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, Elexdirect cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All of the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.
Payment and Price
The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order, whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers' prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.
All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT, and subject to delivery charges which are indicated at the time of placing an order.
Typographical Errors
In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account to the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges).
Payment Methods
We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard and Switch, via Paypal. When ordering you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number, matching the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit/ debit card has been received by us.
Delivery
We operate on a same day dispatch for orders placed before 12 p.m. Monday to Friday as long as all of your items are in stock.(For UK orders only.)
We aim for you to receive your goods within 2-5 working days (UK). Goods that will take longer than these times will be clearly marked in the notes section of the product.
There are two types of U.K delivery, which are:
U.K. Recorded Delivery (signature required) and UK Special Delivery (signature required) both at a cost of £4.95. We will use our discretion as to which service will be used, goods over the value of £30 will always be sent Special Delivery.
The best thing about our delivery is that no matter how much you order, you will only get charged once.
Overseas Delivery is charged at basic rate and will be sent International signed for to Europe. USA and Australia will be sent as standard Airmail and is not trackable, if you require insured and trackable delivery (This is advised for high value items) please contact us and we can invoice you accordingly. Unconfirmed and unverified paypal account payments are subject to further delays approx 10-14 days

Risk
As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. We shall only deliver goods to the address on the order, goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods will be at your own risk.
Time Limitation for Notification of Claims
If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 7 days from delivery. It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 7 days from delivery. It is your responsibility to notify us of any in-correct goods supplied within 7 days from delivery.
Cancellation of Orders
If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from date of delivery for full credit or refund less any applicable delivery charges. It is your responsibility to return any such items in a pristine saleable condition in their original box and packaging. You will be completely responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your account. Prior to returning any products, please contact us within 7 days from the date of delivery. If you do not return goods within 7 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, your right to cancel will be revoked.
Faulty Products
If you receive your product and it is faulty, please return it to our head office and we will refund your payment to the respective credit card. Returns address is on the 'contact us' page of this site.
Your Privacy
We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).
We conform to the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1998.
Other
You will own the goods once we have received your payment in full. We will issue you with an invoice once we have dispatched the goods to you. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
